What is the Estek Exam?

What is the Estek and EIS/ESG exam?

Estek is the development of the EIS/ESG measurement system. It includes of course all information provided by the EIS/ESG test but complementing with pulseoxymetic, pulse waves and heart rate variability values. With all this information we can get an exact picture about the status of the heart and the circular system, its stress load and risks.

What is an Estek test like?

The patient puts each palm and bare sole on a metal plate and two electrodes are placed on his/her forehead. The measurement is based on chronoamperiometric principle. A low 1,28 V electric current is directed through 6 electrodes.

The system examines the whole body 88 times. During the examination there will be a small clip placed on the left forefinger. It measures the circulation in the finger and gives vast information about the function of the whole body. The patient does not feel anything during the examination.

Importance of disease screening to the patient

With the high cost of medical care so relevant today and the effect and cost of chronic disease at an all time high, it is imperative to catch any chronic disease processes (Cardiovascular disease, diabetes, cancer)before they get firmly entrenched in your body and make you ill.

New computer technology available today has now made it possible to have a complete disease body screen in under 5 minutes which will allow you then to take evasive action to sort out the disease process before it becomes well entrenched in the body to cause discomfort and pathology.

In some instances this ESTECH technology can pick up chronic disease (cardiac disease and diabetic tendencies as much as 2 years before your doctor will be able to diagnose it or it being physiologically apparent with symptoms.

Why use screening techniques?

By using this screening technique patients are able to save money on traditional medical tests and catch disease processes in infancy before seriously affecting health.

Early diagnosis requirement

As regard to the treatment plan challenge, early diagnosis of diseases with fast and non invasive techniques may identify persons at risk at a time when lifestyle intervention may be useful therapy. Also, It may be useful to identify the risk before the development of complications related to the diseases network and to the drugs interactions and side effects.

Monitoring of treatment

Patients can use the ESTEK technology with their current illness to help determine if the treatment protocol they are under is effective at controlling or reversing their disease process (i.e. diabetes). Subsequently they are able to take more effective steps to heal the problem. They have the choice if they want to use conventional medicine or natural interventions.

From a doctor's point of view, early diagnosis of diseases may identify persons at risk at a time when lifestyle intervention may be sufficient enough to prevent the disease from developing further. This helps reduce cost of medical treatment.

What is the Homoeostasis Score?

The homoeostasis score is the patient potential adaptation or responses.

  • First of all, it depends on genetics
  • Could be affected by lifestyle, disorders, diseases, current treatment or environmental factors.
  • Decreases with age.
  • It should be considered for any treatment plan and follow up

Homeostasis score in daily practice

  • Detection of the needs of treatment and/or emergency
  • Important factor to consider in therapeutic management plan
  • Follow up for any treatment
